How can Edel help?

Choose the right next step.

01

New client

Ready to get started?

If you are looking for personalised dietetic support, the best place to start is with an initial consultation.

This gives Edel the opportunity to understand your health, dietary pattern, concerns and goals before recommendations are discussed.

Book an initial consultation
02

Existing client

Continue your progress.

Follow-up consultations are an opportunity to review what has happened since your previous appointment, discuss any barriers and refine your nutrition strategy.

If you simply need clarification on something already discussed, you are also very welcome to email between appointments.

03

General enquiry

Not sure what you need?

If you are unsure whether dietetic support is appropriate, which service is most relevant or whether you should book an initial or follow-up consultation, you can ask before booking.

There is no need to choose an appointment simply to ask a quick question.

Email Edel

Between appointments

You do not disappear between consultations.

If a quick question comes up after your consultation or you need clarification on something Edel has recommended, you are welcome to get in touch.

Some questions can be answered simply by email. Others are better explored properly during a follow-up consultation, particularly when they involve reviewing progress, changing recommendations or discussing new concerns in more detail.

If that is the case, Edel will let you know.

01 Quick clarification

A simple question about something already discussed may not need another appointment.

02 Progress review

When your progress needs reviewing properly, a follow-up provides dedicated time to look at the full picture.

03 Changing needs

New symptoms, goals or circumstances may mean your existing recommendations need to be reconsidered.

Before you send a message

Keep personal health information appropriate.

Email is useful for general enquiries and straightforward communication, but it is not the best place for detailed clinical assessment.

If your question requires a detailed review of your health, symptoms, diet or recommendations, Edel may suggest discussing it properly during a consultation.

Frequently asked

Before you get in touch.

Most questions can be directed to the booking system or to Edel by email.

I am not sure which service applies to me. What should I do?

You do not need to identify the perfect service before getting in touch. You can email Edel with a brief outline of what you would like support with, or book an initial consultation where your needs can be explored properly.

Can I email before booking?

Yes. If you have a general question or are unsure whether dietetic support is appropriate for what you need, you are welcome to ask before booking.

Can existing clients email between appointments?

Yes. If you need a quick clarification on something already discussed, you are welcome to get in touch. Questions requiring a more detailed review may be better addressed during a follow-up consultation.

Should I book an initial or follow-up consultation?

If you have not previously had a dietetic consultation with Edel, choose an initial consultation. Existing clients returning to review or continue their care can choose a follow-up.

Can I ask personal nutrition questions through social media?

Social media is useful for general education and keeping up with Edel's work, but personal health information and individual dietetic advice are better discussed privately by email or during a consultation.

Are consultations online?

Yes. Consultations are delivered privately online.
